New Website.

For those of you that don’t know yet, www.Crystal-Jewels.co.uk is undergoing some HUGE changes. The website is being completely redesigned and is coming along nicely. It will have a whole new clean layout, lots of information about what has been going on and the best part is we’re adding a shopping cart function so you can now buy online from Crystal Jewels!

I’m really excited about the new site, it’s being designed by a very talented and dear friend of mine and I can’t wait for it to go live.

Not only will you be able to see all the new designs that I’ve been designing and making over the last few months but there will also be a chance to enter a prize draw to win a free bespoke jewellery set worth up to £60. I will up date you on the details of the prize draw closer to the time.

There will also be lots of buttons and links to all the social networking sites that Crystal Jewels are part of. So you can add yourself to them a really keep up to date with the goings on, news and offers …. SO WATCH THIS SPACE!

Race for Life.

I’m so excited.

The Race for Life if TOMORROW!!

My best friend Jenny and I are running the Race for Life in memory of my dad, who died 20 years ago this July. It’s for such a great cause, Cancer Research.

I’ve been looking at doing something to raise money for Cancer Research for a long time but never really got around to it. Until I suddenly woke up one morning and thought … oh what the hell …. i’ll join in the race. Can’t think of a better or more fun way to raise money. The fact there will also be thousdands of other women taking part also adds to the excitment and buzz of it all.

Twenty20 Cricket!

I’m not sure how many of you watch the cricket but I’ve become addicted to it.

To be honest I was only converted to the love of cricket on the first game of the Twenty20 this weekend. Before then there was no way you were going to get me to watch or talk about cricket at all. The idea of watching 5 day test matches bores me to tears and I’m sure I will only be watching the England matches in the Ashes. However I am glued to the faster pace of Twenty20 Cricket. To say I would never of expected to actually enjoy a cricket match has surprised me greatly, I suppose stranger things have happened though.

I couldn’t take my eyes off of the England Vs Netherlands game on Friday. Although I have to say that I was really disappointed in Stuart Broads performance in this game. What the hell was he thinking? One mistake/error is plausable but FOUR! Come on now, thats just crazy.

BUT …. Broady fully redeemed himself in the game against Pakistan and the boys played a great game. I can’t wait for the England vs South Africa on Thursday. 

And the new kid on the block is …. ?

Well well well …. I’ve finally decided to try out this blogging lark properly. My problem now is, what do I write about and how do I write it so people will actually want to read it?

Don’t get me wrong …. I can chat for England…. but most of the time it’s just random babbling ( as you can already see ). So the challenge is cutting out the crap and actually writing about stuff people would be interested in. 

What have I been up too? …

I’ve been working so hard on Crystal-Jewels the last few months. What with a few server and virus problems and trying to get the word out. The server and virus problems are all fixed now thank God. I’m now just working on the new website. Which is already looking absolutely fab. My web designer has done a fantastic job and I’m so proud and can’t wait for it to go live over the next couple of weeks. 

Crystal Jewels sponsored and Judged at MISS BRISTOL. I also designed and made all the winners crowns and tiaras. I was so chuffed to see the girls wearing the designs and I had lots of lovely comments about them. Just waiting on the images to come back from the photographer now so I can show the world how great the girls looked. The winner of Miss Bristol was the lovely Susannah Burke who now goes onto the Miss England finals. Good Luck Susannah.
